These pictures are from the first weekend I rode her. I think it was love at first sight for both of us. I know that my equitation isn't perfect... especially my hands/arms (ugh)... but considering I haven't ridden consistently (or had more than five lessons) in almost ten years, I think we look pretty okay. :)

Um. I wish I looked as good as you in a dressage saddle. Or could ever get her to look like that. Ha. Next spring I will come out and ride her and you will laugh at me.
ReplyDeleteLove these! You look great! I have gotten way worse than that after going years without lessons, years without riding at all and then a couple of years riding a green horse. I'm all kinds of a mess.

ReplyDeleteAgree with the others that you are being super harsh on yourself, you guys look great in the photos! I wish I looked as good sat in a saddle & that my horses went as good as a result!
